- Vivanta by Taj Bekal – The Taj bekal need no introduction and has set a benchmark in hospitality in the region. If you are looking for something classy and up market, then Taj is your place to go. They have a great inhouse restaurant with good continental food. This is probably the only place you could get a good pizza in this region. However their local cuisine like appam and stew needs more work and is not up to the mark . Make sure to call and reserve a table before you go.
- Viceroy : If you crave a real good Malabari biriyani then the Viceroy is your one destination. Located in Kasargod town this is a great place to try some Mapala cuisine and their Mutton Biriyani is to die for.
- Udupi Upahar (Veg) : The Ududpi Uphar is a standing testamant to the kannadiga influence in this region. This old restaurant specialises in southindian delicacies like the Masala Dossa and their Thali are the best things on their menu along with their hot Gulab Jamuns.
